Convert Sorted Array to Binary Search Tree

Problem Description

Given an integer array nums where the elements are sorted in ascending order, convert it to a height-balanced binary search tree.

Example 1:

Input: nums = [-10,-3,0,5,9]
Output: [0,-3,9,-10,null,5]
Explanation: [0,-10,5,null,-3,null,9] is also accepted:

Example 2:

Input: nums = [1,3]
Output: [3,1]
Explanation: [1,null,3] and [3,1] are both height-balanced BSTs.

Constraints:

Solution (Go)

/**
 * Definition for a binary tree node.
 * type TreeNode struct {
 *     Val int
 *     Left *TreeNode
 *     Right *TreeNode
 * }
 */
func sortedArrayToBST(nums []int) *TreeNode {
    if len(nums) == 0 {
		return nil
	}
	mid := len(nums) / 2
	root := &TreeNode{Val: nums[mid]}
	root.Left = sortedArrayToBST(nums[:mid])
	root.Right = sortedArrayToBST(nums[mid+1:])
	return root
}
